Running list of location suggestions

As anyone native to the city knows, Houston is big.  And anyone visiting will probably start to understand this just by riding or driving in from the airports or the surrounding areas. There are a number of great breweries in the area:  Southern Star (Conroe), No Label (Katy), Karbach (near 290 & 610), and of course Saint Arnold (just north of downtown). There are considerably more pubs, taverns, sports bars, and classic "beer joints" around the city that offer great beer and great atmosphere, and are well worth paying a visit: Ginger Man in Rice Village, Hendrick's Pub on Kirby, Big Woodrows on Chimney Rock, the FireHouse Saloon on 59 & Fountainview, and the Flying Saucer downtown, just to name a few. What other suggestions are out there for locations to consider visiting?  The thougt is to get a running list going here and then start individual discussion topics for a particular date as a means of determining where to go that day or evening. Any other suggestions?

The Hay Merchant Opened reciently. They have a fairly large selection of good beers. If you have not been there, add it to the list!

What about Liberty Station on Washington? They serve Craft Beer only. It's more like and Icehouse. Then there's always Kendricks in the village. Would love to visit both of those again.
